Note: If this tutorial worked for you (and it should work), please leave a comment below. Thanks.

For those business folks out there, having a smartphone capable of encryption is extremely important. With encryption you can safely guard all the data on your phone: application data, music and other media, downloaded information and so on. It's really great for those who need to safely secure sensitive information.

Luckily, turning on encryption on your BlackBerry Z10 is pretty easy. In comparison, turning on encryption on an Android or iOS smartphone can be a hassle. With the Z10 and BlackBerry 10, BlackBerry has made it easy and that's important for those non-techies out there.

Anyway, to turn on encryption on your BlackBerry Z10, follow on below.
  1. Navigate to and tap on the Settings app.
  2. Tap Security.
  3. Next, tap on Encryption.
  4. Now select Device Encryption and flip the switch to on.
  5. Then select Media Card Encryption and flip the switch to on.
  6. Your BlackBerry Z10 is now fully encrypted!
