Apple has pushed an update to block the exploits in the evasi0n software jailbreak. Jailbreaking the iPad, and other devices running iOS 6.1.2 or lower, requires connection via USB to a computer to exploit your device. The jailbreak itself takes less than 10 minutes, then you can begin to enjoy Cydia on your iPad.
The evad3rs jailbreak team has officially release the iOS 6.1.2 jailbreak for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Again, this is the first jailbreak that supports the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini. It is very simple to jailbreak your iPad Mini or any other iOS device for that matter running iOS 6 or higher.
