- An AT&T HTC One X with unlocked bootloader.
- Windows PC
- HTC mobile phone drivers. (HTCDriver3.0.0.007.exe, 13.1 MB)
- Clockworkmod Recovery package for AT&T HTC One X. (Source 1 | Source 2)
- File extracting software like WinRAR, WinZIP, 7-Zip or any other similar software.
- Backup all data present in your device.
- Minimum charge should be at least 60% so that device may not get turned off during the update procedure.
- Enable USB debugging on your AT&T HTC One X. To do this, go to Settings > {} Developer Options > USB Debugging.
Instructions to Install ClockworkMod Recovery on AT&T HTC One X
Follow the below mentioned instructions to install ClockworkMod Recovery on AT&T HTC One X device:- First of all download Paul O’Brien’s recovery package from the given links.
- Extract “installrecovery.zip” file using any of the file extracting software on your computer.
- Connect your AT&T HTC One X device to the computer using USB cable.
- On your phone’s notification bar, tap on USB connection type and select the option for “Charge Only”.
- Now go to the folder where you extracted the recovery ZIP file. Double click the file named install.bat which will flash CWM Recovery on your AT&T HTC One X mobile phone.
- During the procedure, phone will reboot few times after which Clockworkmod will be installed on your mobile handset.
