The HTC First Facebook phone is a pretty great device. Sporting a dual-core CPU, a decent 5-megapixel camera and 1GB of RAM, the device absolutely blazes as it runs Facebook Home. It also runs Google's all-new mobile OS -- Android Jelly Bean.
While Facebook Home coupled to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is amazing, even the best phones with the best software have software problems. So if your HTC First with Facebook Home is having software issues, the next best thing you can do is a complete hard reset to fix it. A hard reset is a basic software process that completely erases all information on the smartphone, bringing it back to a factory state. It essentially wipes the phone clean.
How to hard reset your HTC First
Here we show you how to hard reset your HTC First with step-by-step instructions. See below:
- Wake your HTC First
- Navigate to and tap on Settings.
- Tap Backup & reset.
- Select Factory data reset.
- You will see a warning – read it and tap Reset phone.
- Now tap Erase everything.
- That's it. Your HTC First will reboot.
With Facebook Home, you can view all of your friends status updates on your homescreen as large, high-quality images. You can swipe, like, and double tap with ease. I personally found myself using Facebook more than ever after installing the app.
While the verdict is obviously still out on Home, the most intriguing factor is called Chat Head, a service which combines messages and texts into one unified platform. I know the name is silly, but it works well and is extremely cool.
